Latise Hairston, Ph.D., PCC, CDP, CCMP joined Fielding Graduate University as adjunct faculty in the Evidence-Based Coaching program. She is an experienced leader and coach in organizational development, strategic planning, change management, leadership, diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice.
Dr. Latise Hairston is the Founder and Chief Impact Officer of HOPE Consulting and an adjunct faculty at Medaille College and Fielding University. Latise is a dynamic, accomplished certified Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Strategist respected for delivering a consistent creative vision based on data-driven decision making. She has a proven track record of effectively designing and managing large-scale culture transformation projects overseeing the entire implementation cycle, including within a multi-billion-dollar hospitality organization. Through collaborative practices, she creates workplaces where people are seen, heard, and valued.
For over twenty years, Latise has advocated for those who have been marginalized and disenfranchised. She began her career in child welfare advocating for youth and families. Latise continued working as a social worker and counselor, serving as an activist for social justice, interrogating systems of oppression. To have a more global impact, she began teaching, training and coaching within organizations.
Latise has counseled and coached hundreds of individuals, leaders, and organizations in the government, non-profit, and corporate sectors. She has supplied leadership and content expertise, working with multiple stakeholders to design and redesign several outcome-based training curricula. Through an ongoing contract with Buffalo State College and the Office of Children and Family Services, Latise was instrumental in the strategy, field test, pilot deliveries, and statewide social welfare practice change implementation.
Latise holds an M.S. in Counseling and Human Services, M.S. in Creativity and Change Leadership, and a Ph.D. in Leadership and Policy (with a concentration in Organizational Development). She is also a graduate of the Buffalo Niagara Partnership Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Academy. Latise is a lifelong learner. She holds numerous certifications, including Certified Professional Coach, Trauma Counselor, Certified NLP Coach, and Change Management Professional. Latise has presented at several conferences and is a published researcher.
Latise has a heart for people and the community. She volunteers with the Restorative Justice Coalition. She serves on the Board of an African and African American heritage charter school and is the Human Capital Community of Practice leader for the International Coaching Federation. Latise enjoys trying new things when not working, traveling on new adventures, and trying different cuisine. She has traveled to Morocco, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Ghana, and multiple Caribbean countries, which has caused her to have a global perspective.
