Fielding Graduate University is offering an early decision deadline for our PhD in Clinical Psychology program for the Fall 2024 enrollment term. Please review the eligibility requirements below to determine if you meet the criteria for early decision consideration, and for details regarding the application deadline and notification date.

Apply by October 19, 2023, to be considered. Applicants who are eligible for early decision will receive their admissions decision by February 1, 2024.

You may be eligible for an early admissions decision if you have both:

  1. A conferred undergraduate degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher (OR, if your undergraduate GPA is less than 3.5, completion of a psychology post-baccalaureate program with a cumulative 3.5 or higher GPA). GPA from master’s degrees and above cannot be used to meet this eligibility requirement, but will still be considered as part of your completed application file.
  2. A minimum of 4 transcripted psychology courses (PSY designation), including a minimum of 2 courses in statistics and/or research methods, at the undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, and/or graduate level.

The early decision deadline does not replace our standard application deadline on February 1, 2024. If you do not meet the requirements for Early Decision, your application will still be reviewed in the standard application cycle.
