The Fielding community is invited to attend the Black Student Association’s “Cultural Trauma: Breaking the Psychological Chains Using an African-Centered Approach” on June 17, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. PT | 7:30 p.m. ET. Join the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the 2024 Juneteenth Celebration event on Tuesday, June 18 at 8 a.m. PT | 11 a.m. ET. Speaker Dr. Lenneal Henderson will host a special presentation entitled, “Juneteenth and Beyond: Celebrating Three Great Moments in Civil Rights.” Dr. Henderson will share insights regarding the three most decisive moments in Civil Rights history: Juneteenth, Brown V. Board of Education (1954), and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Fielding’s offices will be closed on June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.
